What about Ca and alk readings.
I have had a couple tanks that take a really long time to clear up. Running the skimmer did the trick on one of them.
If your Ca and alk are out of wack that can cause cloudiness also.
Did you have live sand, or regular sand? If it is regular aquarium sand, did you rinse it thouroughly before adding it? That stuff creates a ton of dust and you have a pretty deep bed of it.

If your sand was not rinsed it may take awhile especially with only the little filtration you have on such a large tank. IMO you need about 4 more PH and 2 more 400's. Just my $.02

Yeah, i rinsed it. Plus i used some live sand from my old tank
IMO you need another powerhead to increase water circulation. It might just take some time which is what I have been told. I have cloudy water in my qt and it only had saltwater in it until yesterday when I added some lr.
