Tap Water Filter

I am thinking about getting a Tap Water filter to improve my water quality.
I saw one on Dr Fostersmith for $30 and read some good reviews about it. What have people heard about these units that attach directly to your faucet?
or would you suggest getting RO water from the LFS?
thanks

As usual Golfish is quite correct, but he didn't provide the reasoning behind the answer. My understanding is that the tapwater filter works fine (okay adeqately) however the price is deceiving. Each media "charge" only produces 50 gallons +/- of purified water and the media is about 20 bucks per charge. It doesn't take much time at all to justify the cost of a good RO unit.
Just my understanding and worth every penny you paid for it!
