Tap Water Purifier

Okay I bought on of those tap water purifiers didnt have enough $$ for RO and was using tap water it worked for the most part but now I believe for some things it's no good like furry mushrooms they died any opinions?

you made the same mistake I made - throw it out. Go to your local grocery store and buy (reverse osmosis water) drinking water.
Since you are just buying the purifier you probalby have a new setup.. Some mushrooms needs a stable tank to survive. It may be you just jumped the gun on the mushrooms.
