yah your bet is to get a r/o unit def makes your tank a whole lot better. i switched over and in about a couple weeks i noticed a big difference in the tank

Ive got a question that goes along with this thread. I switched to tap water from distilled water because the tap water made it look nicer than the distilled water but I never took copper or lead into concideration. My inverts and fish are doing awesome but my coral looks terrible. Even some brand new zoos that I bought just yesterday already don't open all the way and my peramiters are perfect. Could this be from copper and would a ro/di unit get rid of copper??
