Tassle Filefish?

The only info I could find on them was very limited and I am pretty sure that you have already seen it. I have never had one, But I am surprised that they are reef safe. I always thought they were alot like triggers. Now I am curious about this as well.

I don't know that I would consider them truly reef safe! Probably pose a threat to feather duster type worms etc. Definitely see them picking on rock, and nibbling on just about anything they can get their mouth on. Definitely keep a close eye on it for awhile. Also, very important not to keep them with fish that might be attracted to the tassles, and pester them.

Plum, I have one. I love him, his name is Dennis (like Dennis The Menace) because of the way his tassles stand up on top of his head.
He's a hoot. He was very shy at first, but now he is always at the front of the tank looking for a handout. Eats anything and everything. I have never seen him pick at any of the corals, and he does pick the rocks around them. Gets along very well with the other fish. Seems very healthy and easy keeper. Get one if you have the opportunity.
