lol Kobe is coming so close to the man Jordan though
. Im not gonan lie Jordan was the greatest of all time, but when Kobe hangs it up itll be close. Pending on what Kobe does his last yrs in the leaguge.
I just hate to hear Lebron comparted to Kobe and Jordan!
Lebron is sick.... keep in mind Lebron is 23... Kobe is 29/30... and is a much better player than Kobe at that age, Kobe is in his prime...Lebron is still a couple years away....
I saw a report on Yahoo about which team is better Dream Team or Redeem Team...
It is much closer than people think.... The difference would be speed, youth, and diversity of young team vs experience (age) and inside presence of old team... The key difference is Dream Team had centers ... Ewing and Robinson..
Lebron would be the X-Factor because if size, Pippen would guard...

You have just lost all sports talk credibility. Please turn in your man card at the desk for not knowing the 5 rules of sports discussions.
here they are.
No matter what......
Rule 1. Vince Lombardi was the greatest of all time
Rule 2. Babe Ruth was the Greatest of all time
Rule 3. Michael Jordan is the greatest of all time
Rule 4. Wayne Gretzky is the greatest of all time.
Rule 5. when in doubt or a discussion always consult to the first four rules, so as to prevent one's self from looking foolish.

+1
Jordan is what took Basketball from hockey status to well baseball or football status as a major national sport.

I think that happened way before jordan.
I dunno, they started televising college ball during jordan, that I think is when basketball exploded. (hockey may be a bit of an overstatement, golf before tiger may be more accurate)

Babe Ruth!!!! Come now....Anytime John Goodman plays you in a movie and doesn't have to slim down, you just can't be the greatest of all time. Lombardi is very debateable too.
Lance is the most clear cut greatest of his sport of all time....No contest.

The thing about The Babe is that he TOTALLY redefined Baseball as we know it. He was hitting 60 home runs when whole teams were hitting 30, and his single season record wasn't broken (I love maris but 12 extra games) within the 154 game margin till a few years ago. A lot of people forget that he would have been a HoF pitcher if it wasn't for his bat.
But for football, I'd HAVE to go with someone else. Landry... Maybe Walsh, bill belichick, I think (ignoring the "spygate scandal) what he is doing with the salary cap era that has made the dynasty all but impossible is pretty impressive...

TIGER WOODS is clear cut...
Not clear cut at all...Jack's record in majors is still unsurpassed, 73 top ten finishes in majors is a tough record to beat as well as his 18 wins.

It will be in far less time...than it took Nicholas. I think Tiger is at 14 or so now.
How many 2nd places has tiger had in last few years in majors? Tiger Woods is already considered GOAT by most... In another 4-5 years there will be no room to even make an arguement for another..

All I said is it is not "clear-cut"....If Tiger retired today, I still would have to go with Jack by a hair....Is Tiger at his best more dominant than Jack at his best? I might say yes, but career numbers account for a lot too. It's one thing to win a bunch of majors in your 20's, and completely dominate everyone, but there is a lot to be said for firing 30 on the back nine on Sunday at Augusta to win the Masters at 46 too.
Also don't forget about 4 years ago when Vijay Singh was number 1 in the world and Tiger was 100% healthy.
Again..."Clear-cut" to me is Lance Armstrong, maybe Michael Phelps, not the guy with the second most majors, and the 3rd most wins all time.

Basketball is lame! They should have dropped that from the olympics instead of baseball and softball in 2012

haha one thing I agree with you here. Well olympic basketball is lame cause the usa team is full of allstars. No real competition which makes pretty much all of their games quite boring blow-outs. At least in olympic baseball, the teams are more evenly matched and anyone can win. Just look at how good team korea is doing. But yeah NFL > all sports
