Teen trends?

Im sorry to rag on anyone with this fashion trends thread but does anyone see any teen trend and wonder huh? For me its when girls wear their hair up in a messy ponytail witha headband, and wear a neon colored t-shirt with flip flops on, and sweat pants that say "pink" or "juicy" or some stupid writing on the back. Then they talk and act exactly the same. What happend to being unique? I just think its dumb little girls try to copy any trend they see. An example of this is when i was in a store and i saw a girl that had to be no more than 9 years old weraing exactly what i described above with the shortest shorts someone could wear. I just thought what?! What mother would let thier child that young dress this way? It just irks me. Anyone know what im talking about or have any other examples?

Yeah, my daughter will NOT be participating in any of that.
My big question though is.... why do females (I know not all) try and make their hair lighter and their skin darker? Cut out the bleach and tanning crap if you ask me.

It bothers me when young women don't dress properly. Showing too much skin for their age.
I don't like the tanning thing either. Be proud of who you are as a person and not try to become someone you are not!
I can't stand 8-13yr olds that wear too much makeup. I think that at this age, parents should not let their children have makeup. I would suggest around 14 is more appropriate.
I can't stand girl pants on boys. Creepy.
I can't stand emo kids with black/grey cloths that look anorexic and dye their hair black to be "unique," just like all the other EMO's.
I can't stand guys in pink t-shirts.
I can't stand smart girls that act ditzy because their friends do. (or guys for that matter)
On a side note:::
I can't stand mature women who show too much skin.
I can't stand mature women who where cloths that are too tight and have the "muffin top" effect.
I can't stand mature men who have their pants pulled all the way up to their chest.
I can't stand mature women who date for the sole purpose of reproducing.
I can't stand mature men who play like they are "the hip dad." and wear clothes that are way too young for their age.
I can't stand mature men who dress like their 80 year old dads either.
ok, I'm done :D

I keep seeing teenagers out there in 80s trends... neon colors, leg warmers and various other things that make me cringe. Let the fashion of the 80s die, PLEASE.

I know what you're talking about. I hate flip flops...some advice to people who wear these: Wash your feet, seriously.
As for the juicy pants...I loooove that. Most of the time anyway.

i can't stand the girls that wear the "pink" sweats. What exactly does the "PINK" mean? It seems kind of a slutty thing to put on your butt, and also a little suggestive. I think that most of the girls that wear the sweats and have messy hair are trash. I had a girl roommate last year that was all about the whole white trash look. And she was a slob whose parents paid for everything that she had. She was even too lazy to rinse and put dishes in the dish washer. i really did not like her.

Thats exactly what im talking about man! I think they pink thing is a Victoria secret brand. It just gets on my nervs cause you see clones of the same exact girls walking everywhere, in the summer is the "pink" sweats and in the summer is the "pink" short shorts. Do i really need to see that much of you? Lol i seriously passed girls when i was out with my gf and wanted to tell them "Hey why dont you wear some clothes!"

Would it have not been more appropriate to put the 'pink' on the front of the pants?

No way stinky feet.
Flip-flops for life, son. I'll take a bit of dirt on my feet vs. bottling up my feet in socks/shoes, sweaty, musty, smelly feet. Let your feet breathe!

I have to respond to the muffin top thing.... how do you seriously not stop what your doing and just stare at them?
Sorry but if you're a bit overweight... doesnt show us the 4 inches between your pants and shirt or wear a shirt that is waaayyyyyyyy toooooo tight.
Oh... also am I the only one that doesn't know what EMO means? Guess I don't watch enough TV or read enough people magazine or something.

Nah, it's fine I've had to tell my Spanish teacher what it means. Ever seen someone with tons of makeup wearing all black with a cape? It stands for emotional. Most of the time they are just out for attention.

emo is either emotive or emotional. it was a genre of music but then became a stereotype of clothing/ style/ ect.
typical emo kid found on google lol

Emo's are teens that do not have enough grit to be punk.
As for muffin top, I hate seeing that. It is so disgusting that a girl has no respect for herself and others. I do not want to see their fat. I do not even like my own! Another thing I noticed is that pants that girls wear today are not even flattering on skinny girls. They cut them off on all the wrong places. I saw a girl the other day that was pretty skinny but her pants gave her bulges. Just wrong!

Lol Another thing that girls do that seems to bugs me is when they wear those kind of elasticy pants. They're literally so tight you can see everything. I just wonder, can you wear any tighter pants? They'd probably say yes lol.
