I just got a bubble tip anemone two days ago. It's doing great. It stays in place and my sebae loves him. My question is, I'm planning or have started feeding him twice a week a small cube of brine shrimp. Is that too much?
There are so many discussions about how anemones can survive by itself. One condition is when they have clownfishes living in them. Another is living under adequate lighting. I have both of those conditions. I think it's living under the right lighting (just upgraded my lighting last week), and my sebae doesn't seem to leave him unless there is food around
.
So I just want to know do I need to feed it that often, or should I decrease the times that I feed him? As you can see I have a ten gal tank, so feeding is crucial. Another thing about feeding, where can I get food for anemones? Such as, silversides? Can I jsut stay with brine shrimp? Or should I get squids or scallops?
All responses will be greatly appreciated
.
