1-my clownfish i have now
2-flame hawk
3-McCokser's wrasse
4-flameback angel
5- either a midas blenny or a pair of green clown gobys (which do you like?)
these are in no order, but which should i add first to last?
i have a 36 gallon w/ 20 gallon sump
my main concern is that the midas will get 6" and thats pretty big. IYO tell me if they would get along since most are peaceful to semi-aggressive, etc etc
thanks!

I think that all of those fish would do well in the size tank and with the tankmates you have picked out. The only concern I would have would be with the Flame Hawkfish. These guys usually eat ornamental shrimp and small fish-clown gobies included. Other than that seems like a good list. If it were me I'd add the Clownfish first assuming it's a Percula or False Percula (i.e. a more peaceful type of Clownfish), the Midas Blenny, the Flameback, then the Wrasse, ending with the Flame Hawkfish.

yeah, i read that hawks will eat shrimp. my cleaner is pretty big so i think he has a good chance. i was concerned about the gobies being eaten as well...but i heard clown ones have this nasty slime coating on them or something that makes the unappealing to predators like the hawk. but im still debating on the yellow midas or green gobies since i have no green fish.
my clown is a misbar perc, he is in there now with his anemone.

I don't know if you have considered them... but Green Chromis are pretty cool fish. They aren't as vibrant of a green as Clown Gobies, but they are great additions to most peaceful/reef type setups. When the light hits them in just the right way they shine with a very nice green hue. Another benefit to Chromis is that they tend to encourage shy fish-like the Angelfish and the Midas Blenny to come out into open water so you can view them easier and more often. Just some thoughts. Hope that Helps :)

i used to have a trio of them. i really liked the way their color was brought out under my lights. they actually helped my clownfish discover that the tank is safe outside of his anemone.
i updated my stocklist a little and arranged it in order:
-clownfish i have in there now
-3 chromis
-maybe chalk basslet
-McCosker's wrasse
-flame hawk
-flameback angel (needs estab LR)
7 or 8 fish is alot for a 36 even with the 20 gallon sump for extra bioload. i decided to go with the chromis, like Volks suggested since they were very active when i used to have a trio of them.
i need opinions if 8 fish will be ok in 50 gallons of water volume. if not i will not get the chalk basslet and relieve the bioload. if its still too much lemme know.

so i decided that i was going wayyy too overboard stocking cause im so indecisive.
i am going with 5 maybe 6 fish tops and thats it.
heres the latest updated list:
-clownfish
-either a pair of green clown gobies or a chalk basslet
-McCosker's wrasse
-flame hawk
-flameback angel
my main concern is the individual personality and type of each fish. i am thinking that the wrasse and angel will be active swimmers that will always be out and about. the flame would be a perching fish, and the clown would be hosting the anemone. so i have a variety of activity going on.
what do you guys think? do you think i should go with the chalk basslet or green clown gobies?
