OMG!!!! this could take awille
long story short bought two damsels took em home (a 20 min drive) andpaced the bag in the tank 25 min latter I went to aclimate the fish and one of the two was dead. Wile aclimatting the other the second one bit the dust GREAT just what I allways wanted two dead fish!!!!!!!. So I call the store and a guy said to bring the fish and recept to the store tusday they were fixxen to close and were closed sun and mon. OK thank. tus after work I drive 20 MIN DOWN SOUTH! to get a re fund. now I may have been a newbi but I knew about parameters. So I walk in and the owner said we are closed ( its 650 ) I said I just need to get a return. do you have a water sample. nope your worker never mentiond that. well we only have a 24 hr garentee. uh YOU WERE CLOSED!!! . she said if I brought a watter sample she would sell me two more @25% off. So I stoped by the next morn. she said that my ph was 8.1 and she could not give me a dicount. So at the TOP of my lungs i scream why did you sell me two dead fish!!!!!!!!!!!! I am now banned from there but I got my dams for free. She dose not know it yet but If I here one more nasty rumer about my currant lfs I have 18 frinds lind up to be very pickyand then change there mind at the register

I've never had too bad of an experience... asides from when I bought a packet of Bio-Spira and it ended up being ruined; it killed all of my fish. Of course, I got double my money back, so it is okay. No one's fault.

Worst lfs experience? hmm... the one lfs here has decided to sell puppies in those puppy prisons (the "kennels" that fit 8 dogs in about 6ft long space) and since then their most knowledgeable salt water person has quit. Now, I can't go in there without seeing sick or dead fish or no fish at all. Terrible situation and infuriating.
Also, in another lfs, the owner of the store told me I should have no cleanup crew (snails or crabs) since I have only about 15lbs of live rock in my 46g tank.

my worst experience was my lfs selling me a unicorn tang for my 45 gallon tank. actually, he sold it to my parents, but they told him how big my tank was and he still sold it to them.

my worst experience was my lfs selling me a unicorn tang for my 45 gallon tank. actually, he sold it to my parents, but they told him how big my tank was and he still sold it to them.

is when my LFS sold me a Moorish Idol because I was too stupid to know better.

ok my worst experience is when i bought my first antennata. i wagerd from $100 down to $50 (i am a experienced baker person) and so i took it home and acclimated him. about 2 hours later i looked in and he had popped the bag, so i kinda had to let him out. so 12 hrs later hes gasping, next thing i no hes dead. so i got to my lfs w/ a water sample and all that stuff and they said i had just mixed it and becuz of my dishonesty they would not give me a discount. so i took out a stargazer and.....jk. so i told them that if i didnt get atleast a 50% refund i would sue for evrytime i had been bitten by some large monitor lizard ( i still had an open would from the week b4). and so i type this while watching my antennata lion slowly glide around the tank w/ a cup of hot chocolate and some copies of tropical fish hobbyist.
