Temp daily range?

My 90 gal tank with sump ranges from 77-80 in the daily cycle. Is that too extreem for reef enviroment?

Thats about the swing of my tank. I have not seen any problems with it yet...
I think you should be more worried about the High side and the Low side. If it gets too hot or cold. As far as the swing, I would think 3 degrees is fine.

My tank is already up to 80.8,and summer hasn't even started yet.Last year it got as high as 86-87 every day,and I didn't have any problems.The big worry with temp is if this temp swing occurs too quickly,or get's extremly high...
