Temperature For Live Rock?

So Im mixing up my 100 gal and the water is incredibly cold, but I want to put my live rock in it. Its about 60 degrees and I was wondering if that would kill off my rock? thanks.

Yes, cold temps can kill the critters on/in your rock.
The best way to cure rock is to treat it just like any other living creature in your tank. The exception is the presence of ammonia. While normally any ammonia is a bad sign, when curing rock just don't let your Ammonia get above 1.

I agree with what 1jm said.
Why would you not go buy a $20 heater from a pet store to get the tank back up to temp? It doesn't need to be a fancy one.

Where in texas are you where your water is 60 degrees?

and stdreb27: san antonio. but its been cold down here and my tank is right next to an open window. say what you will, but it dosnt even have sand in it so Im not worried.
