This is true to a point. A lot of people living in cooler climates keep the AC set at 72 or around there (we did living in northern CA), but living in Phoenix, if you kept your AC at 72 or even 75 for that matter you'd be paying a MAJOR electric bill. :scared: I laugh when I have friends/family visit during the summer, they are like, can't you crank up the AC. I'm like, what, it's only 80 in the house, lol. And even then the AC is on pretty much around the clock.
Of course when I go to visit them I'm FREEZING in their house.

I keep mine about 80-82. It's roughly 88F outside now. Tampa, FL.
For the most part it's already summer here and it has been for a month or more.

I moved this winter so it went into the garage when we moved in I realized the porch needed modification to fit the grill, Its either cut out a section of bench or place it directly next to the propane tank and k-1 fill tube for the house. needless to say I chose life. I'm going to cut out a section in about an hour when I'm done with todays waterchange. all this talk of grilling. curse you motivational speakers....

I get the same response when family come to visit. They live near the beach. Our AC is set at 80 but that's comfortable for us.
