Tentacle?

I was looking at my polyps, and realized that I have some new ones growing, they are orange, compared to the lime green ones I have. But, I noticed a long tentacle like appendage coming out from the live rock right near them. Its white/transparent, is very slender, and stretches out to be about an inch. It goes back into this, what I assume is a hole, because I cant find where this thing is set up at. Ive seen it bother my polyps. It looks like it bit one of them.

The tube may be very hard to see if squeezed in between some polyps.
Are we talking "thread" slender or 3/16 inch slender.

I would not say thread exactly, but, i would say pretty similar to about 50LB test fishing string. Thats the best I can thing of. But I haven't seen any snails, the thing just, comes from a hole. Unfortunately I cant get a pic of the thing.

If you took a single spaghetti worm tentacle, it would look just like it, but just one.
