Terminator Sarah Connor Chronicles

Well, I dont know if there were any fans out there, but I was hooked from day one from being a huge terminator fan from the movies. Plus, salvation comes out this summer. But, did anyone find the ending of this series to be totally contridicting to the movies. The whole time I thought they were bridging t2 to t3 and if they truley are cancelling the series it makes no sense.
I dont want to tell what happened in case there are some that havent seen it... but tell me what you think if you watched the show

I watched the show every week. I hadnt heard that they cancelled it though. From what I read before it started it was supposedly taking place between the 2nd and 3rd movies, but was treating the story as if they never made the 3rd movie (which sucked anyway)

i love the series, but it's confusing. i can't figure out where in the movies it's supposed to take place
sarah's under arrest for killing miles right? yet, they don't know what the t1000 is, yet john has said in this series that his foster parents wree killed by a terminator. no one in the future seems to know either (in the submarine). and yet, this t1000 in the submarine in the future seems to be sent back in time...and takes cameron...while trying to stop skynet...
and now... they are in the future where connor is an unknown... so by going in the future the connor that should have lived through the holocaust wasn't there and now isn't running the resistance?
this is why time travel movies/shows etc are just nuts...
as for the show being cancelled, it's on the "list" but has not gotten chopped yet. they will probabl ybutton it up with the next season.

I haven't seen any of the second season yet. My wife can't stand it and she's ALWAYS home, so I haven't had a chance to see it. It's all on the media center though.
My take was always that the show's timeline was set after the second movie, and the third movie "never happened." I suppose that theoretically, they could end the series to flow into the third, but I doubt it given some of the stuff that has happened in the series.
Great show though... can't wait to get caught up on it.
I hope the third seriest introduces Richard Gere, Julia Roberts, Matthew McConaughey, and Reese Witherspoon as regular characters. Then maybe she'd let me watch it.

yeah if you google it there are a ton of articles on it, but if they do cancel it it could be picked up by another network.
One thing that gets me is that troughout the movies you couldn't travel into the future, just the past... anyways that what I always thought. Anyhow, Salvation will be out in may so maybe some questions will be answered then.
Lets hope there is a season 3.

i think it's cause the technology was never around to go forward. it wasn't there until it was brought back in time according to the tv show.

The show will be cancelled, because that is my curse. Pretty much every show that I get into gets cancelled (Deadwood, Rome, Arrested Development, etc, etc.). What's next Heroes - Entourage?!

I friggen love this show. Just when you aren't sure what is going to happen. It goes even more nuts. And it has cybornetic organisms. I for a while was trying to justify it between the movies. But have decided you know what I don't care. I just like the TV show.

with the movie opening i checked out to see what's up with the show. it does seem that Fox will not bring it back. lets hope it goes to FX or somewhere...

im pretty sure somone will try and pick it up, however it looks like the majority of the actors/actresses have moved on to other projects. we will see I guess.

Fox has a history of killing great shows.
they could have killed it after some closure though :( look at jericho. they knew they were going to be cancelled, so they basically finished the story. rushed it, but finished it.
at the season finale of this last season, they left a cliffhanger that they'll never finish now :(
