My female clownfish is being very territorial all of a sudden to my male clownfish and is not letting him in her sight. she keeps pushing him down to the sand and making him hide in rocks. what should i do to make this stop. they have been together since november and have never had a problem, they are both occelaris clownfish.

Have they tried counseling? Seriously, about all you can really do is remove one of them, or just let them be and hope they become friendly again.

what I have heard is gennerally the bigger one is the female and if the male can make it through the physicaly beating then all will be fine.
I may have it twisted up with the female and male thing.
But I think someone told me it ranges from about 3-5 days and the female will accept the other.
at least thats what someone told me, so if Im completly wrong, just correct me.

Ultimately aren't pretty much all females in charge?
If they were dont you think they'd fix that >20% discrepancy in pay

the physically stonger s.e.x. is always in charge. Lions, Hippo's, Deer, People men. Clownfish, Praying mantis, Spiders female
Oh back to the topic. I wasn't so lucky. My male/female got along fine for a few month then my female started acting like yours. well lets just say I have one clownfish now.
