Terry - Bubbles in the tank?

Terry - I would like to know if bubbles in the tank can cause popeye and damage to the gills of fish? If so how rare or concerned should an aquariust be about it? Also what size bubble should we be most concerned about?

Terry, how do the fringe reef fish handle having all of those fine bubbles in the water. Do they have some special adaptation to rid their blood of the air?

I was aware that bubbles can get in the blood and gills, but I have never heard about it causing eye damage. Any idea how it would damage the eyes?
