Tess Swallowed my .......

My 20 inch tessalata eel just swallowed my 5 in volitan lion whole. i saw him chae the lion for 1 minute and he finally got a hold of the lion by the stomach area... i grabbed my tounges and tried to scare the eel and was chasin him with peices of branch rock to beat the lion out of him but he found ways to hide and just wouldnt give the meal up... its been 2 minutes now.... curious to see if the sting will affect him... rite now he looks fine RIP LIONAL the Lion

tessies will eat ANYTHING around them..thats why they need species only...sorry bout the lion

i figured the lions poisonous dorsals will offer optimum protection. DEffinatley underestimated the beast!!

those are monster eels they are known for doing those types of things never underestimate the power of an eel

now im getting rid of him... and I will finally be able to keep nicer fish.. and i will deff get a less aggressive eel.... (big snowflake )

The guy at my LFS who got my SFE from their tank for me was telling me he used to have a Tess. He asked if I had been to the local aqaurium exhibit, where his Tess now lives after he donated it to them.
