I use aquarium Pharmaceuticals saltwater Master Liquid Test kit. Consistantly for every single test since the tank was set up I get a 0.25 Reading for Ammonia. I took water to LFS and they said that water tested fine I cannot remember numbers as it was before I got my puffer. I have come to consider the 0.25 Ammonia reading to be the 0 for ammonia. Nitrites test at 0 and Nitrates have tested at 40 at the highest and I did a water change then. LFS store said that the Ammonia test Reacts with the Saltwater and it usually will read the 0.25 even though tank is 0. I called AP today and they said that is should not be doing that asked me how I was testing. I follow directions to a tee even bought a little digital timer to make sure I wait the 5 mintues for the test. AP said they will send out new test and to test with that one if mine is bad to send it back to them.
