what is the best test kit i can buy to test the water in my 75gal tank thats in the stage of cycling

I use FasTest. It is very reliable and not hard to use. Just make sure to avoid using any of those quick dip test kits. They are a waste of money.

IMO i would dish out the extra bucks and get the best tests from Salifert. Especially if your going to be in this hobby for a long time. Easy to use and very accurate.

Salifert or marine enterprises international, the MEI was cheaper an I have heard they use the exact same reagents as salifert, but remember all the tests will read the same water diffrently, I just did a comparison between 3 kits and they were all diffrent!

Yes the brand name is Fastest. Very reliable, well known kit. I've use salifert also and got the same efficiency from fastest in a more affordable, easier to use test kit.

I vote for Salifert as well. They have always served me well. Reliabl, accurate, and easy to use.
