Test Kit

I want to make sure i buy the best test kit available so that i have all i need the first time buy. Can someone recomend the best kit.

Good test kits are expensive, so be ready to spend some money. Salifert kits are quite good for most of the normal stuff, although I don't like the phosphate kit, and are relatively reasonably priced. Elos and Lamotte are very nice, but also very expensive.

Po' boys like me use API.

I use API (Aquarium Pharmaceuticals Inc.) but I have heard that Salifert is the best

I don't know, I never used them. But I am happy with API
