Test Kit????

Rigth now I a test kit with the one you dip in the water and then you match up the colors with no mixing or anything. I am not sure how accurate it really is. I also have a calcuim tester that is ok but it is a long process to do.
Anyone have some names of test kits that they have had good luck with and are easy to use.

what about electronic testers. Do they make them for calcium.

I prefer Salifert tests for ammonia/calcium/alkalinity/PH/phosphates. Not sure about electronic calcium tests...but I've always been of the opinion that the test strips can be faulty...check into Saliferts.:cool:

I also use Salifert as per recommendation by my LFS and am very happy with them. A little pricey, but then again, what isn't in this hobby/addiction?

only electonic ones i have tried is the ph by pinpoint which i use and think is great, i was not as happy with the salinity monitor and sent it back
