Is there a difference between fresh and saltwater test kits?
I have an aquarium pharmaceutical's freshwater master test kit, would the ammonia, nitrite and carbonate hardness tests be (at least close to) accurate if used to test saltwater?

IMO to save you time get some saliferts from the site the olds ones aernt accurate if even usuable for saltwater HTH

Hi Neil! Where in Upstate are you??
I agree with Logan that older test kits don't perform well. As far as your freshwater, the Ammonia and Nitrite might work, but the carbonate hardness isn't going to do anything for you.
