Test kits

There are so many out there what is the good ones.

From what I can tell the Salifert test kits are preferred although they are a bit pricey. I just received mine and will be trying them out tomorrow. I've read that they give you the most accurate reading. Good luck!

i like my red sea test kits, but I agree with evieb, salifert test kits I think are prefered by most, and that's what I see the LFS using on their tanks.

My red sea ones are fine. I don't trust them that much, but didn't have the free $$$ to spend on a good one. I've never gotten a 0 NH3 reading, but as long as you keep that in the back of your mind it's all good.

I like Salifert............for the slightly higher price, you get a lot more tests....
