Test results - good or bad?

Ph - 8.0
Nitrate - 0
Nitrite - 0
Ammonia - 0
Calcium - 415
dKH - 8.0
Phosphate - 0
Magnesium - 1200
Should the dKH and Mag be higher?
I have been using a swing arm (yes, bad i know) to measure salt and it is at 1.023 (yes I know they can be off). I bought a Refractometer the other day, but want to calibrate it first but I need distilled water. Not sure if I can use water from my 'tap water filter' or if i need to hit the store and get a gallon.
Just wondering if I need to test for anything else and how things are looking?
Thanks!

Ph is too low.
If you've cycled your tank, your Nitrogen Cycle is GREAT!
If not, you need to add ammonia by ghost feeding.
Good Luck!!

perfect.
nitrates are too perfect for a tank thats been up a few months unless you started with already established liverock or transfered. you generally at least have a mild rise the first few months after cycling. do you have any livestock?

I disagree, Ph is fine.
Basic saltwater tank Ph levels 7.6 - 8.4
Reef tanks 8.0 - 8.4
Agree, although not sure of the inhabitants would stress with a Ph level of 7.6
Also, in my opinion the nitrate is way low (if it is indeed awsome).
Wonder if that is possible on a newly cycled tank, as there has to be nitrate produced by nitrobacter? Wonder where the nitrate went?

I think it is a case like mine. I use an instant ocean test kit. You have to have trates over 10 to be able to read it. He has to has some trates but if it is lower than his minimum reading then he is saying it is 0. I dont know just my thought. or a couple major water changes I think would bring it close to 0 aswell.

The tank has LR from a person who was breaking down their 300g. I have 2 Green Chromis, 1 Domino Damsel, 3 Sand Sifters, 3 Lettuce Nudibranch, 1 Coral Banded Shrimp, Red legs hermits, Blue leg hermits, Emerald Crabs, 1 Brittle Starfish, and or course snails.
As for filtration I am running an Eheim 2229 wet/dry filter and a Eheim Hobby Pump (which I will be upgrading to the next size for more flow)
I change about 5g a week or 10 every other.

How big is your tank I ask because my tank is a 55 gal. I dont have quite your bio load but if you have a 55 thats still pretty good. And I change 5-10 gallons a week. And my nrates are not 0 but so low I could not tell you what they are with my test kit.

I have a 110 X-Hi. The fish in there now are 'testers', I plan to add the ones I really want in the next few weeks. I wanted to wait to the Holidays were over because we were gone for a bit.

the established rock explains the zero trates. without the die off from fresh liverock it isn't unreasonable to expect no trates especially with just a few chromis and damsels in a 110g
