My tank is ready for the rock and sand the water is 79.1deg. and circulating well for 2 days. what should I be testing for when I put the rock in I know nitrite nitrate ammonia
already tested ph is 8.0 hydro test 1.024 but is there something I should be testing when I put the rock and Argamix in.
mixed the water for 24hrs in trash buckets with Oceanic sea salt mix before putting in tank

You should be testing your salt level, PH, ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, alkalinity, and if you're doing a reef, you should be testing for all that plus calcium, strontium, magnesium, and I think thats it...I may be leaving something out, but I dont think I am. Oh, and temperature too-obviously...

The main things to test for during your cycle are NH3/NH4, NO2, & NO3 as well as ph & alk. After the cycle is complete and you do the WC at the end is when I would worry about all the other stuff. Just my .02.
