Tetra Tests-no instructions

:help: Oh my, hubby purchased me a used tank and some accessories from a seller and when the items were packaged, the tests were wet and the instructions are unreadable. I do have the color charts, but don't know the proper way to test the water. Can anyone help me with this?

You may just want to get new test kits. Do you know the age of the kits?

The tests are all in date and they are the Nitrate, Nitrite, Ammonia and a ph.

For all of them you want to start with 5 ml of water in the test vial.
PH- you put 7 drops in the water.
ammonia- put 14 drops from first bottle, shake gently, 7 drops from the 2nd bottle, shake gently, and add 7 drops from the 3rd bottle, shake gently, allow 20 minutes for color to develpoe
nitrite- add 7 drops from the 1st bottle, shake gently,let the vial stand for 10 seconds, add 7 drops from 2nd bottle shake gently, allow 2-5 minutes for color to develope.
nitrate- add 14 drops from the 1st bottle, shake gently, add 7 drops from the 2nd bottle, shake gently, using the enclosed dosing spoon add 1 spoonful of the powder, close vial and shake well for 20 seconds, add 7 drops from the 3rd bottle, shake gantly, allow 10 minutes for color to develope.
