I downsizing what I was going to do to a little bit smaller of a tank. I will be doing a 240 gallon instead(96 by 24 by 25). it will have a 55 or 75 gallon sump and a skimmer rated up to 600 gallons.
Now my ? is I want to keep a coral catshark, lionfish, minatus grouper, naso tang, tezzy eel.
But I've heard of tezzy killing all of their tankmates. Is this true?
Is it possible to keep them with these fish(well feed)?
Is this overstocked already or could I add one or two more fish?
Also any info on tezzy with tankmates is highly appreciated. Thx

tessy's are a single species only fish they can and will kill other tank mates including others tess's they do not discriminate and will kill whether they are hungry or not.if you want to ad color and more life to your tess tank add damsels.these I have had ok luck with as they are too small and fast for my tess to catch so far. but that doesnt mean he isnt trying,,because he is!! these fish are highly territorial.most zoos and aquariums do not keep this species due to its aggressive behavior and solitary living needs.be forwarned if you add show fish into the tank with him sooner or later they will become eel food or just simple chew toys for him.stick to cheep damsels ect you wont miss them so much when they do.
