I know there have been many thank you messages in the past, but I wanted to add another.
I am by no means new to reef keeping, but I also realize that I'm far from knowing even a fraction of what there is to know. That is why I joined SWF's message boards.
I've dabbled in other boards which will not be mentioned, but I'm sure you know most of them, and most just have too many people that come off as "know it alls" or belittle people for questions they think are too elementary.
I have very rarely come across a thread that has a negative post attached to it, and when one does pop up, someone is usually quick to post another to remind that person why this board exists.
Although I'm located in Northern California, I feel like I've gotten to know several people from all over the country just from reading their posts.
The majority of people on this board seem to be like me, thoroughly research a subject before trying it out, and quick to ask questions or advice when they can't figure it out (speaking of which...anyone got some advice for my thread on pom pom and harlequin crabs? :thinking: )
Anyway, I may stray to another board every once and a while, and still will occasionally visit the boards I originally belonged to, but I WILL ALWAYS RETURN TO MY TRUE HOME...

Yup...you are right that there have been many "thank you" posts just like the one you made.
Each time I come across one I try to point out a few additional thanks...
First I also thank the members here for sustaining a very positive set of forums for hobbyists to participate on...second I'd like to thank you for contributing to the success of our forums....without the active participation of members such as yourself this would be just another forum instead of the best hobby related site available.

Although I do not post too much lately (others are much faster, and I assume live here). I also find most here to be a friendly bunch too, there seems to be alot of extremely knowledgeable people here that are willing to help almost anyone. Every once in a while, we will get an "interesting character", but for the most part we are like family.
NM Reef even notices when I post... I guess he is keeping an eye out to make sure I do not mess up too bad:hilarious
A special thanks to all those that make this a wonderful place to be, and make us want to come back often.
