After looking at pictures of meowzers amazing tank and taking particular notice to the mandarin dragonet she has I decided to confer with her and decided to purchase one. Having the luxury of multiple good quality saltwater fish stores in my area I picked up this female yesterday. As a side note I took a good look at my tank using a flash light when the tank lights were off to make sure I had as I suspected a well-established pod population

That's great!!!! Watch it closely when you feed your tank and see if it eats any of the frozen.....Mine does :)

Looks great! I agree with Lois; both of mine taught themselves to eat frozen while being in a big tank with a heavy pod population. Wouldn't surprise me if yours did after a while.
What are those bright red zoas on the left?

Are you guys sure you did not luck out and get tank raised mandarins? The zoos were supposed to be Armageddon zoos but they turned out just red, you can search the web for suppliers

easy yes but weeks if not months in a
Segregated environment is needed
True, it did take mine about 2 months to train to eat frozen. Mine actually would eat directly from the turkey baster. I did convert it while it was in my 55 reef and it had to deal with competition from the other fish in the tank.

You are my friend; a true hobbyist. Perpetuating the specie via Patience is what must be strived for. To many hobbyist would just throw a species in a tank and hope for the best
