The NEW impeller came today. Are all you people that have the prizm stupid. ( no offense.) The the "new" impeller is the same as the old one. 18 blades. It is a new impeller as in not been used instead of improved from the old one. It does not cut down on the sound or make it a more water sound. It does not make the skimmer more efficient. It does not have more or less blades.
IT IS EXACTLY THE SAME ONE.
So THANKS RED SEA FOR ALL YOUR HELP IN YOUR LOUD PRODUCT. THIS IS ONE PISSED OFF CUSTOMER.

Any way I think I will send back the skimmer and save for a Belin.

Maybe you had already got a new one and the people that had the old one had one with lesser blades so if you had an 18 blade on that is the improved one because if you remember Red Sea advertised that it 12 blade impeler in the oringenal ads.
