Well, too much family drama to have it at my in-laws. My parents didn't invite half of my family to their get together - so I dunno yet, to be honest. lol. I hope to get some food at least.
I just hope everyone can behave this year. Especially me and my brother. We don't get along at all...

only my own family and my mother had the store cut the turkey in half so we could eat and not waste to much.

Our closest family (that I talk to) is two days away. The SMALLEST turkey the wife could find was 20 pounds. It's just me and her and a friend who's engagement just broke off. I'm going to have to plot some sort of turkey disaster of we'll be eating bird leftovers till Christmas...

Hiding from as many family members on both sides as possible. My parents go away for thanksgiving, so we don't have to worry about them, but hubby's got divorced parents, lovely. I think I'm going to play the "pregnant and having bad morning sickness" card, which has been the truth most days.

I'm cooking for my 6, my dad, my brother in law, his bf and maybe one cousin.
i have a 10 lbs turkey, doing mashed potato's, corn, stuffing, cranberry sauce, sweet potato's and rolls.
I am taking the month of December off. lol I have something everyday that month, along with getting my shopping done, and my husband having surgery the 12 of the month. uggggg. Both kids have concerts, one daughter has tutoring twice a week for the first two weeks, and we are leaving for Mississippi the 22nd. I would like to hide.

Heading to my wife's family in New Hampshire late Wednesday night for T-day at her grandmother's place. Her grandmother is about 90 and hasnt been doing so well lately so this may be the last one that she's around for....
I did my own mini thanksgiving last weekend. I smoked a turkey, which came out amazing, and had my mother over for dinner on Sunday with just me, my wife and the boys.

Staying home with my wife, 2 daughters and son-in-law. Normally we have a pool on how far over 80° it will be on Thanksgiving, but rain and 68° is predicted. Dang I hate this brutally cold weather.

Haha... it's crazy here too. Let me try to count.
On Sunday night, my aunt and uncle (and cousin) drove 2 days and are staying with us for a week. As some of you know, my cousin is 3.
There's 3.
Then, on T-day, we'll have...
My grandparents from both sides... unfortunately my dad's dad is gone for this thanksgiving.. but life goes on. (Another 3, so 6 so far)
Our family friends, and their son's girlfriend... (Another 4, so 10 so far)
My uncle from my dad's side (Another 1, so 11 so far)
His kids... my other cousins...I think that they are like 2 and 4 or something... (Another 2, so 13 so far)
Me, my parents, and my sister who still lives at home. (Another 4, so 17 so far)
My brother and sister who live alone/not with us. (Another 2, so 19 so far)
19 total.
I think that I counted everyone.

Any Mexican families here on the forums to out-do TravelerJP with family members?
Seriously though,...my family is seriously messed up this year. heh. It seems like everyone is going off in their own directions and no one really cares. My brother is coming into town with his boyfriend for Thanksgiving - now that's going to be a hoot. I could care less about my brother, to be honest. We've never gotten along - and he seems to meddle in my life, even if he lives 14 hours away, he's still meddling.

LOL at your first statement.
My family doesn't get along to well either... so each year everyone gets in at it with each other and it gets really crazy.
But... we've gotten used to it. *sigh*

And.... my aunt just got into a car accident.
Luckily my cousin and her are OK, just shaken up.
The car.... not so much... but not completely totaled.
I knew that something like this would have to happen.
Oh well.... the *fun* has begun.

lol! You know they are going to talk about it their entire visit now. lol
I'm glad to hear that everyone is ok though.
Two years ago at my wife's b-day party at my mother-in-laws house, I had to hold down my mother-in-law to keep her from beating the crap out of my sister-in-law for running her mouth. heh. Fun times, ... family get togethers. lol
Now if I can keep from strangling my brother Thursday, or stay out of jail for assult... I'll be having a good day. :D

Yep... and now we're figuring out how to get the car back home, and them back home, etc... they've crashed 1 hr. away...
They sure will be talking about it the whole time.... and my dad does not like them very much... so I know that for the next 5 years that will be the excuse to my mom as to why we shouldn't invite them over...
Seth... what a family you have.... holding another family member back from beating another one up? Sounds like mine!

Got you beat seth at my wedding my cousin called my wife a F''''' B and I was drunk so this did not make for a good night.
I can say after 12 years the only time we spoke was at my grand mothers funeral and that was HI...
