The 15 most toxic places to live

I was about to say, what nothing in the united states? But they threw a couple digs in there, then got to WV. Kinda plays right into my opinion. These morons that do nothing every day but try to make it harder to make money in the USA are shooting themselves in the foot. Because when you're worried about survival, you don't take care of the rabbits.

Man if they could only see the inside the homes of some of my friends, they would have made the list.

I don't know, seems like when you see plastic bottles and such wash up on the beach they are still in pretty good shape, not sure how toxic all that plastic would be anyway, we all have plastic in our tanks for years and nothing seems to happen. My guess is there is some excellent fishing and a lot of wildlife near that thing and more of an eyesore than an actual threat.

The problem isn't us in the U.S. We have to do our part and fight pollution, but strip mining compared to dumping high level nuclear waste openly on the ground surface can't be compared. Also, it's places like they showed in SE Asia with rivers of garbage that are causing the 2x Texas sized garbage island in the ocean, not us. Seems like if lefties cared so much, they'd go to where the problems are and try to stop it, not stop farmers in the San Joaquin Valley from farming to save a dumb-@ss mouse or harvesting timber in the Northwest. As far as I'm concerned that slide show proves "environmentalists" are out to stop capitalism rather than "save the earth".

well everything will get worn down over time, think smooth river rock. Not putting any major research into it, I just kinda assumed, and based off of what I'd read (not something I'd hold a match to, as it was a tree hugger website) that after a while the plastic trash just breaks down into smaller pieces and ends up in no mans land. (think dead zone in a fish tank where debris gathers) And of course everything is dead. So seeing huge pieces of trash and flora makes me wonder...

The funny thing is, plastic typically is petroleum based... And we know everything made out of oil is baaaaaaaaaaad.

Plastic bottles aren't a big deal. They can even be used as a refuge by little critters. More of a aesthetic problem than environmental. It's stuff like the 6 pack holders that damage some wildlife that gets caught in it.
