The answer to OUR Prayers

As some of you might know, we have had horrible grass fires here in Oklahoma and Texas. So far Okla. has lost 2 lives, 323,000 acres and over 220 homes. Our Governor called for a day of prayer in Okla. last Sunday for rain, snow , higher humidity etc. This is the answer.

It's been in the 60's and 70's for the past several weeks with very high winds. Thats the kicker, We really needed some moisture. We ended the year 12"below the normal. The wheat is really suffering and then all the fires started; God listens. It will be mostly gone by the end of the day as it is suppose to get in the 40's. They say 10" of snow equals 1" in rain.

I'm in Texas but not effected by the fires, But this should go into the PET PEEVES thread for all those lazy, smelly smokers who toss out their cigarette butts out of their stinky smelly car windows to BURN what ever it winds up landing on.

Wow i wish we could get some snow in Jersey. Its been 50 for the last week and thats the forcast for this week. It way to warm up here, i miss pond hockey cause of this warm weather.

here on long island it has been to warm(also a weather freak) with a bermuda high so NO snow for about a week week and a half it stinks

Here in Wisconsin, we don't have any trace of snow what so ever.

We sure needed what we recieved and a whole lot more. The crops are really going to suffer. Cartman, I did decide to not let my son ride the bus to school since the school is in another town. Being the Mayor does have it's perks. Ha!
