i personally am NOT into all that sappy i want you back, baby i messed up i lu uh uh uh uhveeee yooooo ooo ooou, make your gag reflex respond immediately stuff... so with that bein said here are a few songs about love and/or the love of something that i think are pretty good... die MF die by Dope, Heart Spaped Box by Nirvarner, 3 Libras by A Perfect Circle... there are more but cant think of em right now...
the best "i love you song" would have to be Tears in Heaven by Eric Clapton written about/for his son who died in a tragic accident...

"All of My Love".....Led Zeppelin. Written by Robert Plant after his 5 year old son Karac died from a stomach virus.

They never performed the song again after recording it. The song was too personal and emotional for Plant to sing again. Plant almost sounds like he is going to cry at some parts of the song.

One of my fiancee and I's "songs" will always be Dashboard Confessional's - Hands Down. I am not much of a fan of "emo" music, but that song is really nice.
