I want to stock up my tank with a variety of pods and shrimp...
I have a 2g fuge and roughly 100lbs of LR...
The LR is old an came from a podless tank so i didnt bring any with me. Aside from getting new rock what would be the best way to introduce pods, and keep them alive and reproducing like mad

Ask bang guy if you catch him on here...he is the regional pod/sand genius.
For me, I have a dsb, refuge, and try to keep my salinity above 1.024

My first suggestion would be to find a fellow hobbyist in your area and trade for a few cups of sand to place in your Refuge.
Other options include buying some freshly harvested Live Sand, A small uncured live rock, reef rubble from your LFS, or buying a critter kit.

A small uncured rock isn't going to produce enough die-off to affect a 75 gallon tank as long as you remove anything obviously dead off the rock.
Several Vendors sell specific Live Sand recharge kits. My second choice would definately be the fresh live sand though.
