I need help, both wet dries I was going to get turned out to get bad reviews. They were megaflow and marineland, people said both had bad sumps that were restrictive. So can someone tell me what is really good for a 55 gal standard rectangle fish only tank? Also is a coralife super skimmer 65 good for my tank either sump or hang on setup?

So you guys think proclear wet dry and proclear skimmers are good? What about the proclear pro series wet drys with built in skimmer?

I have had my proclear running for over 3 years with no problems. I had my 125g rated filter on my 55g and just swapped it over to my new 90g. Pic is of my 90g reef ready but i used the proclear hangon overflow on my 55.

is pretty cheap.

I have the exact wet/dry on my 90 as dmc and its great w/very little maintenance, 1 1/2 years, although I am not too fond of the skimmer. I am going to upgrade to an aqua c soon with my heavy bio load. Nitrate still usually 0. Keep prefilters clean and I would suggest using 2 no matter what model you get. Good luck.

how the heck did you get all of that in there...i have that same sump (i will be getting a new one soon) but i had the hardest time getting my skimmer (seaclone 100) and a mag 5 in there...i mean it is in there but it is a tight fit and it puts bubbles back in the sump which therefore puts them in my tank

it's one hell of a tight fit especially with the sponge i had to put in there to eliminate the skimmer bubbles. It was like a freakin puzzle!!!!

here's how i crammed it all in. If you put a sponge on your skimmer exhaust it will get rid of bubbles. They will just trickle down and be gone by the time they reach the bottom
