overdosing one will kick the other down with Cal and Alks relationship.
When dosing, drip slowly overnight against the PH drop . Also spread your doses over the course of several drip sesions, a single nights drip for Cal supply for whole week often defeats the purpose in reef tanks when aiming at maintaining higher levels for big growths

Just re-reading, your alternate cycle for lighting is a good thing and should be stablizing your levels. Just how Large were these new adds and how stocked is the tank?
A drp of 150 daily on such volume would require a pretty dang stocked tank. Thats even beyond more reactors abilities.

All the peices came from a friend with a 400 gallon reef tank. They are all over five inches. The acro has four long (about six inches in length )projections from the main stem.
Check cal every day. Tonight the cal is down 50 mg. Maybe it is stabilizing??? I hope. Now one of the rose anemonies is attacking my orange montipora. It is very unhappy.
