The Color Purple!

What can I add to stimulate the purple growth on my fiji live rock?

I have just started to add that. I think I have been doing it for around 2 weeks or so. How long does it usually take to see good results?

Maintain a good level of calcium/ alkalinity & magnesium and eliminate any phosphates... and be patient.

Agitating the coraline with a toothbrush to release the spores seems to be a good method to accelerate growth. as well as sraping it off the glass when ever it starts to encrust.

You can use powerheads to spread the "seeds". Just make sure you filtration is good. It takes time!

high water flow, strong lights, water changes is all you need.
