Never heard of Par 38. I'll look into it. LED's are too expensive. I would rather just a few little power compact retrofit kits to purchase over time rather than one big purchase.
But, I'll look into it. I can't seem to find a decent price on LEDs, and you know what they say - you get what you pay for.

My camera is a piece of junk. I wish I could buy a new one or figure out how to do the ISO balance thing on it. I paid $300 for it, so you think it would be a good camera... oh well.
I have my overflow and pump on order. I found some old plumbing supplies of mine and my order should be here sometime next week.

Evil's PAR38 Lamp

*60 degree optics only*
Inspired by Japanese style spot lighting, the Evilc66's PAR 38 from
Nanocustoms offers a transformational new approach to lighting your reef.
Some say that spotlighting gives you a more "natural" look, inspired by the
caverns of coral and forests of kelp. Light in the deep blue sea is often filled with
patches of light coming in as rays of the sun.
This High power LED lamp for reef aquarium use. Usable for many different
applications from primary lighting, to spotlighting certain show coral.
The combination of genuine white and blue Cree LEDs gives you high light
output, and great fluorescence from your corals. Featuring:
90-240VAC for worldwide usage
Standard E26/27 lamp thread

What about two Par 38 Cree bulbs over a 20g tank?
But I also like this Par 38 bulb as well... mainly because they come with remote controls! http://www.ledwholesalers.com/store/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=702

I haven't really gotten into the new technology out there in the last two years. LED's were a thing of the future back when I was really into aquaria. lol. Now it's here and I'm completely ignorant on the subject! :( lol

I'm hoping someone with more adequate knowledge will chime in. I have heard great things about the Par 38 bulbs, especially in nano setups. I know 1guydue uses them and JSTDV8 have used them.
