Alright I almost worship
the green mandarin because of its great beatuy, but it is very hard to keep as almost everyone knows. You need tons of lr, even 60 lb. isn't enough, but I heard some eat flakes, etc. If so I would love to know where I might find one, a certain website maybe that goes more in depth of their fishes behavior. Cause I was going to have about 61 lb. or lr in my 30 gallon tank I the mandarin is my favorite fish of all time so if I could find one that eat flakes, etc. I would love it cause it could eat the pods and the flakes or whatever else. Well hope you can help me. Thanks for reading.

if you have a reliable fish storeyou can have them order you one and see if it eats prepared food at the store.

good luck

I'm not sure I'd try that in a thirty. Maybe more like a well established 90 gallon, but that's just my two cents.

only in tanks that are very well established with the LR also.
A year at the minimum. 30 gallon wouldn't be the problem, just enought LR to maintain the pod population.

I would tr to pack 50lbs. of liverock or more if you can fit it and get the biggest hang on back fuge you can fit. or setup one under your tank like 10g.. but the hang on back ones are better for creating a good pod population because the water is not pumped back into tank which can kill some of your pods when going threw the impeller on the pump.
