They are the most obnoxious group ever.
And people say bad stuff about Philly fans. We aren't that bad (I think). We just have a lot of passion and sometimes it gets channeled the wrong way.

I just can't stand Lindy Ruff. I've had a festering hatred of that guy for over a decade. As a whole, I don't really mind Buffalo. There are other teams (pittsburgh) that I dislike a lot more.
I moved down to Miami from Philly three years ago. I miss going to games at the FU Center/Wachovia Center. Though Panther vs Flyers tickets are dirt cheap and there are more Philly fans in the stands then Florida fans.

The Hockey Thread.... I have finally found you!!!!! Heck ya!!!
I don't know why it took me so long to find this thread. I gotta thank RG for starting it. LOL
So, who's a fan of who here? Slice= Hurricanes
Gemmy= Devils??
TurAk = Panthers?
I grew up in a hockey household in the Metro Detroit area... I will let you guess who I am a fan of.
TurAk, you will like this... I have a buddy who was the ice guy (in charge of the quality of the surface, plus he drove the Zamboni during games) for the Panthers last year. He spent a lot of time with some of the players. lots of good stories. LOL He recently moved back up to Michigan and I play in a Men's A league with him every Thursday.
What does everybody think about the possible realignment next year? I think that the Red Wings should be in the East. I love watching them play the east and its a shame that they only have one or two games each year vs them.
I hope this tread keeps going. Come on preseason!!

Lol. Okay. I am down with that. The Flyers are a good team. I still remember the legion of doom line. Good luck this season.

I don't think the Panthers actually have fans. I moved down here from Philly a few years ago. So I'm a Flyers fan. Most hockey fans down here are transplants from the north. Usually there are more people cheering for the away team at Panther games. At least the tickets are dirt cheap. I can get good lower level seats for what the nose bleeds in philly would cost me.

Oh. I watched the flyers beat up on the leafs tonight on gamecenter live. It's nice to be able to watch hockey again. Even if it is just preseason. My gamecenter live account still seems to be active from last year. Unless they auto renewed on my credit card. I had to watch it on my computer though because the PS3 app seems to only have last seasons games.
