The hunt for a Protein Skimmer

Not that you guys haven't been asked this a million time before, but what brands of skimmers do you adore for a 55-75g tank? What should be avoided? Do bubble plates really make a huge difference in performance?
Looking for a sump skimmer and heading to a used equipment sale this Saturday to see what I can find.

I got the aqua c remora years ago and it still works amazingly. Plug it in and just clean out the tube once in a while and empty the top... pretty simple. expensive though.

The sump's going to be 20 gallons either a 20g long or 2 10 gallons. I guess I could see about hanging a skimmer on the back of the sump, but I thought one of the advantages of the sump was just being able to plunk the sucker in there. Doesn't Aqua C make a small in-sump skimmer... The Urchin and Urchin Pro, I think. If that's a reliable brand, I may look into those models.

I don't know about all of that.. all I know is that the one I got was sweet... and I hate this stupid biocube skimmer... absolute garbage.......but it fits...
