Took the kids to see this today - great movie very well done
the Pixar mini movie before it was kinda amusing - teaching kids to adapt to new situations and "rebound" very cute
Did anyone else see it?

We went Friday right after the boys got out of school. My oldest (he's 9) didn't say much about it, but my youngest (7) had to have all the Incredible dolls from the Disney store today (including the costume!). I thought it was cute and the Pixar mini-movie WAS hilarious! I've never seen a

I haven't seen it altough a 14 year old teenager in a movie theater with little kids would look weird. But I know that Pixar makes Disney over $100 million dollars a year not counting all the merchandise they sell form their record breaking movies. But I still love LOTR the most.

When I went to the movies with my kids there were many many childless people there - Cartoons arent jsut for kids - if it realy bothers ya and you want to see wait till the lights go down then walk in (or follow a family in then split when they are about to sit down)

Boy, you sure said it NW2SLTFSH! I bought Shrek 2 today and the kids left it to go outside and play and I watched it by myself!

We took the twins on Saturday, it was their first movie at the theater, and they did really well, watched the whole thing, I thought it was great, and very funny, I would go see it even if I didn't have kids.

We saw a sneak preview of The Polar Express. Now that is a good movie.

I cant wait to take the kids to see Polar Express. it seems now a days the best way to get ready for the holidays is with a major motion picture release.
i remeber when Frosty the Snowman on TV was a big deal and marked the begining of the holiday season.
now TV shows just dont seem to hold that same value as they did when we were kids.
Like watching the Wizard of Oz on TV, staying up past your bedtime and eating popcorn made on the stove or an air popper. Those were memories of a lifetime - not the same now that it is a DVD that you pop in.

I thought the beginning was somewhat slow. After that, the action kept building and really drew you in. My kids, ages 6 and 4, were completely enraptured and burst out laughing several times. :D
The whole family thought that we would have to get this movie when it comes out on DVD. If the Polar Express wasn't coming out next weekend, we would have probably seen The Incredibles a second time. This movie is likely to get an Academy Award nomination for best animated film, but will probably lose out to Shrek 2.
If the Lemony Snicket movie is anything like the books, it will be great.
I was somewhat disappointed to see what Pixar's next project was going to be. A NASCAR cartoon???? They have had some great movies but this topic holds little appeal for me.

I agree elfdoctor, I'm a NASCAR fan and I'm not sure they can make a good movie out of that. My Daughter is 2 1/2 and over the weekend she saw both toy story movies and just loved them. Today she asked me for a Buzz Lightyear. Do they still sell him?

My son wanted to be Buzz Lightyear for almost 3 years (he has almost outgrown it at 4 1/2). There doesn't seem to be any shortage of buzz lightyear toys.
I also heard a rumor that Pixar is working on a Toy Story 3. That would be another fun movie. :D If this happens, you will be able to buy everything buzz-related you could possibly want (and your child would still want more). :D

Disney.com is the best place for buzz lightyear toys. My little guy is the same age as elfdoctors'. He has everything Buzz (back pack, lunch box, Umbrella, Jacket and all the toys a child could what)
Although this year he asked for the space ship - when i showed him a toy one to see if that was what Santa should look for - he wants a REAL SPACE SHIP .. silly mommy I should have known.
they have a great selection of all the toy story characters including gift sets of Woody and Bo PeeP
Happy Shopping!
My daughter thought the car cartoon looked kinda weird - Son thought in his words "it looks wicked cool!" (the little New Englander in him is coming out) So I guess after all the princess movies this one is aimed more at little boys...
Although gotta say the Preview on the Shrek 2 movie for Madagasgar looked awsome - not disney or Pixer - but still cant wait to see that one.
