The LFS said this was a Dragon Goby so he bought it..

What is this fish???

He is sand sifter... I like him... I would like to keep him, but what is he?

It is one of these two Amblygobius phalaena or Amblygobius semicinctus
The common names are misused for both fish: Sleeper Banded Goby, also known as the Brownbarred Goby, Bullet Goby, and I have seen Dragon Goby used also.

Thank you! I just need to find out how to take care of him. All of you on this forum are amazingly helpful and friendly. It makes the trips to the LFS a little less scary..

Sand sifters do just that. I had a diamond goby and i didn't feed him anything, and he thrived.
