the life of PC light bulbs. and MH?

I have been using Coralife PC light 2x65 W over a year. Should I change the light bulbs? I heard that the PC light bulb only last a year, is that ture?
also, what about the MH bulbs? how long can it last? or always need to change the bulb too?

When I ran PC's I changed em evry 9 months. MH's bulbs are all different and it also depends on the ballast you use. I change mine every 6 months.

PC's (unless otherwise directed by the manufacturer) should be replaced every 6 months. MH's each year.

oh, i see. so....... i should change the light bulb now.
also, can I replace the light bulbs with other brand? (since i heard Coralife light bulbs are not that good)

Coralife's bulbs are fine (it's their ballasts that suck), but you can change bulbs as long as you get the right wattage.
