The meaning behind your username?

Novahobbies, because I used to run an online garage business for my other hobby in the late 90's, and early 00's. That hobby has since cooled, though the website is still current. The name stuck because it's sort of my online doppelganger for every forum.

My online experience started with hardcore flight sims (Falcon in all its flavors through to Allied Force - F16 sim), was a virtual instructor pilot, flight school instructor, wing admin, etc for about 10 years with a now disbanded world-wide Virtual Fighter Wing. My callsign was "Slice" and it stuck. I got it partially because it is my favorite backhand approach shot in tennis, partially because it was my favorite maneuver at the merge going 1v1.
