Well, my Maroon Clown, "Fluffy", is homeless now. The gigantic BTA that he/she has been living in for the past couple of years decided to move to another part of town.....unfortunatley, the part of town it moved to was in the same neighborhood as a big powerhead, and needless to say when I came out this morning my tank looked like h**l. Cloudy and miserable. Took me a few minutes to figure out what happened, but came to the realization when "Fluffy" came running (swimming) out yelling (gaping mouth) about what had happened. Very sad........"Fluffy" is going to have to wait now until my new 250 gal. is up before he/she gets a new condo.

Sterling, haven't seen you in a while. sorry to hear about the anemone. Did you do damage control?

OH man what a bummer. I wish there was some kind of motive as to why they pick up and move for no aparant reason.

Hey Thomas, I still lurk around. I'm kind of waiting until I start putting my new 250 gallon together to start bombarding everyone with questions. My new office for our boarding kennel should be finished next week and then I can get the new tank/stand/lights out of my mom's garage and start getting it all together. I have to find someone in the NW suburbs of Chicago that has experience with the plumbing to come over and help with that. Any suggestions??
At any rate, I did scoop out all that was left of the anemone, and this was a BIG anemone, I had posted pics in the past, it was 13 to 15 inches across when fully opened, so there was alot of gunk to clean out of tank. Did a partial water change and all is well except for poor Fluffy, he/she wanders around very lost....a homeless person/fish, at least he/she hasn't resorted to living in a box somewhere. I'll get him/her a new home once the new tank is up.
