The Nudi-st Colony

Had you guessing?
Thought I'd introduce myself to the thread with shots of my favorite form of sea life. The nudibranch! I feel that they're better left in the wild so I dont have any in my own 100 gal that I am just getting started. I'm taking Marine Aquarium Management in college and have already been through TONS of Marine Eco and Bio classes if you need any help. By trade I'm a photographer. Hope you find my shots suitable.
These are from the Cabrillo aquarium in San Pedro CA. My class gets to go on behind the scenes tours, and if people are interested I'll post more shots...
Thanks!

Yep...It's too bad most of them only eat certain types of sponge...That are difficult to grow anyway, let alone enough for a Nudi to live on.

That was at cabrillo? I been there. Pretty nice place. You should go to aquarium of the pacific in Long Beach and take pictures. They have lotta nice stuff too.

those are great shots, what camera are you using? I love nudis, they are gorgeous. My local fish store has them occasionally, but they never ask for them? I think orders must get mixed up every once in a while. They don't encourage people to buy them, but will sell them if someone really wants one

Using a Canon 20D w/ tripod.
As for the college, its a junior college is South Orange County called Saddleback, that offers a Marine Aquarium Management certificate program that goes along with the AA in general studies. Love it.
