Well the time for submitting pictures for the contest is over and it's time to vote. I wished there were more pictures but I guess either people didn't know the contest was happening or they just didn't care to participate. Maybe the wrong coral class was picked. Anyway, the pictures are located here:

I will end the voting in a little over two weeks. Let's say it will end on July 24th since that is my bday and I will have nothing better to do on that day.

Now I have run into a snag. I wanted to make the voting as easy as possible and have the voting done in a poll process. However, the poll option only allows 15 entries and I have 21 pictures so I will break the voting into two separate threads. So please go through both threads before making your decision. Also, please only vote in one of the threads.

I don't think you picked the wrong type of coral, I just think the prize will go to the photographer, after all it is the best picture right. Maybe in the future you could do one for each category, softy, LPS and SPS

Aww, I didn't know the contest was going on. Either way, I doubt my camera would have caught anyone's eye...

I agree. I have learned a lot running the contest this time around and will hopefully make the next one better.
Also the voting was supposed to stop on the 24th but let's continue for a few more days.

Sorry, work and vacation extended the few days more than expected. Contest is over!!
If I am looking at it right, it appears 8 posts for post pic #16 (Pirates) has the most! I will ask Scott to lock the thread but as of now 8 votes is the most so please no one else vote. Congrats pirates!! I will email Scott to let him know that the contest is over and who won.

I'm sure we have a lot more members here than what is shown by the number of votes submitted. Not sure if I will do another contest anytime soon since it seems like a waste of time in getting more people to participate. There could be many reasons why a lot of people didn't at least vote but I what done is done. If you would like another contest, please feel free to work with Scott (swf.com owner) to get one started.
